I've been reflecting on what a mapping of people's perceptions of the world might look like. Ideas, which emerge from a mix of learned knowledge and personal experience, can take on an endless array of forms. These forms captivate me because they can be observed from various perspectives, each revealing different emotional characteristics
Material thoughts
These sculptures map cognitive branches that might arise from the material object. Inspired by the rocks found on the beaches of the Pacific Northwest, the forms made me wonder at the experiences that shaped them and how that story might expand the space that they inhabit.
