Tile Floor

These ceramic tiles were individually hand-cut, smoothed, and glazed for a Seattle home sun-room. Each tile is unique from all the others.

Laying it out was a beautiful puzzle. There is variation in the glaze from white to rust. The tiles were laid free-form, without a pattern and were positioned so that the darker tiles would look like a trail moving through the room.
The space is 12'6" x 9'. Created in 2019
